In case anyone wasn't sure, 75 per cent from three-point range is pretty good.
That's the clip Riley Paul hit from beyond the arc as the Providence University College Pilots beat the Canadian Mennonite University Blazers twice in a row to open the MCAC men's basketball season.
Paul hit nine of 12 threes for 34 points on the weekend, earning male athlete of the week honours.
The Brandon product had 13 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in the opener, then posted 21 points, seven rebounds and three blocks in the rematch.
The Pilots are back in action this weekend at the Université de Saint-Boniface Les Rouges on Friday and Saturday.
Meanwhile, in MCAC volleyball, the Assiniboine Community College Cougars host the Blazers on Friday and Saturday while the Pilots and Les Rouges have a home-and-home weekend starting in Niverville.
